Sovereign Local Client
Conversations, sessions and remembered facts are written to a local SQLite database in your home directory with owner-only file permissions, and never leave your PC. Only the model call itself travels out, and outbound text is scanned for credentials before it is sent.
Quickstart
- Download the client. It needs Python 3.8 or newer and installs nothing — the standard library is all it uses.
- Make it executable:
chmod +x ~/Downloads/openclaw-local-client.py - Start a conversation:
python3 ~/Downloads/openclaw-local-client.py "Summarise my week", or run it with no prompt for an interactive session. - Check what is stored on your machine:
python3 ~/Downloads/openclaw-local-client.py --stats - Back up or move your memory:
python3 ~/Downloads/openclaw-local-client.py --export backup.jsonand--import backup.jsonon the other machine.
